Thanksgiving weekend. Chad was on nights, so the boys and I headed to Hulett Wed night. We spent Thanksgiving at the Lodge in Deadwood with his parents, Grandpa, his Aunt Mary, her son Jimmy and his wife and two boys. After Dinner the kids took full advantage of the really cool pool! Needless to say it took them 3 min to fall asleep once they were strapped into the car. Friday we meet chad and his dad in Spearfish so that he could visit with his grandpa. Then we headed to Rapid were we got a motel with a pool and went swimming again. That evening we took the boys to Story Book Island to see all the lights, then grabbed a pizza to eat at the motel and went swimming again! Saturday we got up, and you guessed it, went swimming! Then we spent the day shopping, and getting our picture with Santa. That night we attended the light parade down town, big hit with our little ones. Sunday we headed back to spearfish were we went Christmas tree hunting then met chads parents, Kristie, Scott and the kids at Grandpa's place to celebrate his 93rd birthday! We all had a great weekend, and really wore the boys out. Missed Chad on Thanksgiving thought so I guess next year we will just have to make up for it.
