At the last min on Tuesday June 28 we decided to go camping in Custer SD and go fishing and Visit Flinestone land on Wed before heading home that night. Well lets just say that our one night one day trip turned into a 5 night 5 day trip. Wed we fished and went to Flinestone land as planned and then decided that we were staying at least a couple more nights. Chads mom and nephew Trevor were with us. Thursday we did some more fishing and a round of Mini golf in town. While there Grandpa John was in Wright packing us more clothes and supplies and a camper! He joined us that night. Friday we yet again did some more fishing before heading to see Mount Rushmore and having lunch at Keystone before it started down pouring rain. John took Trevor home that night and then rejoined us at the campground for dinner. Saturday, you guessed it fishing! We attempted Sylvan lake but it was really busy seeing it was the weekend of the 4th of July so we attempted Keystone again only to find that the whole town was out of power! We did a little walking and had some ice cream before heading to a different lake to do some fishing before it started raining again, needless to say we went out for pizza, pie and Ice cream that night. Sunday we packed up and left but not before trying out Sylvan lake again. It was still busy but the boys had a blast swimming and playing in the sand. After a couple hrs there we got some lunch before heading home. What a great spontaneous weekend!
